Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Canteen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our canteen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, club and food operations. This is a private club dedicated to Veterans. Membership to the VFW is not required.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise canteen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and production
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for canteen operations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the canteen
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests insuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure financial reporting is complete for all shifts

Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in team management and canteen management
- Strong knowledge of bartending, and restaurant operations
- Excellent interviewing and hiring skills to build a competent team
- Proficient in bar and food operations
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service establishments
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
